My clever cousins - Weijie & Ziqi. Mama was actually quite proud of my PSLE record which Ziqi didn't break but managed to level with according to her own PSLE scores.

拜年 at my cousin's place. Posh, classy and upmarket condo that costs up to $5 million!

Fluffy in her new year clothes. She was sniffing away at the kueh lapis, egg rolls and pineapple tarts on the low coffee table. Greedy!

The past two days were a breeze with house-visits and us gorging on new year goodies (for me, more like mousing on the corners of pineapple tarts, kueh lapis and kueh bulohs). This year's house-visits were shortened significantly with my dad's side of extended family overseas. With that, our ang pow money has reduced significantly as compared to last year's too! Boohoo. Yesterday I went to WW's place to 拜年 and to help out a little in preparing the food for a big gathering with his dad's relatives. It was quite a lot of work for his parents, toiling away to get all the dishes done. Sweat!

Glad today is a holiday as they say, you shouldn't work on the 3rd day of the Chinese New Year as it would signify you slogging away at work for the rest of the year. Yippie, freedom is bliss!
